In 1983, Ted and Joanie Warriner moved to Federal Way, where Ted gained experience in the waterbed business. Seeing the potential in the market, and having the drive to create their own business, Ted and Joanie opened their first waterbed store in Tacoma, Washington in March of 1988.
By June of that year, the Warriners were incorporated and in business! Soon, they opened a second store in Lacey, Washington, and have continued to grow store by store in the last 20 years. Now, the waterbed store that opened in 1988 has transformed into 4 full-service furniture stores.
